RNA Extraction

The quality and integrity of extracted RNA are critical for its effective utilization in methods like RT-PCR, RT-qPCR, and next-generation sequencing. For manual purification of total RNA or miRNA, whether in a single tube or 96-well-plate, Promega offers a selection of kits through their ReliaPrep™, and SV Systems. The PolyATtract® Systems are ideal for isolating mRNA from total RNA or crude lysates.

For those requiring benchtop-scale automated RNA purification from 1–48 samples, the Maxwell® RSC and Maxwell® 48 instruments and kits are equipped with convenient cartridges for specific sample types.

For high-throughput automated RNA extraction on liquid handlers, Promega provides SV 96 (silica membrane-based) and MagneSil® (magnetic-based purification) products.
