    Micro Satellite Instability

    Known for its precision and expert support, the Promega MSI Analysis System is recognized as the premier MSI assay in clinical research.

    MSI testing on tumor tissue is traditionally conducted using Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) and Capillary Electrophoresis (CE). This long-standing practice aims to detect functional signs of genomic instability (such as the loss of the DNA mismatch repair system), a key aspect in the study of hereditary cancers and more recently a critical, tissue-agnostic biomarker for identifying suitable candidates for cancer immunotherapies, specifically immune checkpoint inhibitors.
