Cancer cells found in tumors or established lines are diverse, including:

Promocell has devised a set of tools aimed at isolating, cultivating, and co-culturing these various cell types long-term.
The toolbox comprises three media options that all support the maintenance of cancer stem cells (CSCs) that are critical due to their role in tumor formation, growth, and spread. All three media types are synthetic, devoid of animal components, and xeno-free. They are designed to support growth and long-term cultivation in 2D or 3D environments and are compatible with most established cell lines and newly developed lines from various cancer types.
